in the field of „Digital Innov­a­tions and Inclus­ive Entre­pren­eur­ship“.

The pro­fess­or­ship is to be fun­ded in the con­text of the “Ber­liner Pro­gramm zur För­der­ung Chan­cengleich­heit von Frauen in Forschung und Lehre” of the Ber­lin Sen­ate. The pro­fess­or­ship is offered under the reserve that funds are gran­ted.

Work­ing field:

The can­did­ate will rep­res­ent the field of „Digital Innov­a­tions and Inclus­ive Entre­pren­eur­ship” in research and teach­ing. She or he has a strong interest in research, demon­strated by highly ranked pub­lic­a­tions, focused on top­ics, such as Entre­pren­eur­ship, Innov­a­tion Man­age­ment, Digit­iz­a­tion, Diversity and Inclus­ive Entre­pren­eur­ship.
She or he has excel­lent didactic skills and will offer courses in the Bach­elor and Mas­ter pro­grams “Indus­trial Engin­eer­ing and Man­age­ment”, “Busi­ness Inform­at­ics”, “Eco­nomic Math­em­at­ics” and in fur­ther pro­grams of the fac­ulty, like the Mas­ter pro­gram “Innov­a­tion Man­age­ment, Entre­pren­eur­ship and Sus­tain­ab­il­ity” or the Bach­elor pro­gram “Sus­tain­able Man­age­ment”. The courses should fit the named fields of research. Cooper­a­tion with the “Centre for Entre­pren­eur­ship” (CfE) at TU Ber­lin is required. She or he is expec­ted to raise third-party funds from national and inter­na­tional fund­ing insti­tu­tions, to per­form col­lab­or­at­ive and inter­dis­cip­lin­ary research with engin­eer­ing sci­ences in par­tic­u­lar, to com­ply with the research pri­or­it­ies of the school, and to act­ively take part in aca­demic self-admin­is­tra­tion.


Can­did­ates must meet the require­ments of §100 Ber­lHG (Ber­lin Higher Edu­ca­tion Act, inform­a­tion leaf­let will be sent on request), includ­ing an appro­pri­ate uni­versity degree, doc­tor­ate and post-doc­toral degree (habil­it­a­tion) or equi­val­ent. Expec­ted are excel­lent sci­entific qual­i­fic­a­tion demon­strated by highly ranked pub­lic­a­tions, doc­u­mented exper­i­ences in third-party fund­ing with national and inter­na­tional fund­ing insti­tu­tions, exper­i­ence in col­lab­or­at­ive research and inter­dis­cip­lin­ary cooper­a­tion, integ­ra­tion into the (inter­na­tional) research com­munity, as well as excel­lent didactic qual­i­fic­a­tions and teach­ing exper­i­ence in rel­ev­ant fields, demon­strated by a teach­ing port­fo­lio (for more inform­a­tion see TUB Web­site, quick access no. 144242) and teach­ing eval­u­ations.
