If you’re ready to innov­ate and lead in the Digital space join our new Digital Mar­ket­ing Intern Pro­gram. In this 6-month intern­ship you will have the unique oppor­tun­ity to rotate in two busi­ness func­tions devel­op­ing strong Digital Mar­ket­ing skills. Work­ing within our organ­iz­a­tion will be reward­ing, chal­len­ging, and most def­in­itely not be just another job.

PHASE A: Digital Mar­ket­ing

The focus will be to explore how a digital mar­ket­ing plan is cre­ated with the goal of lead­ing with Digital and drive mobile-first con­sumer mind­set. This will give you vis­ib­il­ity of the digital con­sumer jour­ney through, Nike apps (Nike+, SNEAKRS) and you might use dif­fer­ent per­form­ance mar­ket­ing chan­nels: Tar­geted Com­mu­nic­a­tion, Paid Search, SEO/SEM, Pro­gram­matic Media, Dis­play/OLM, Paid Social and Off­line Media.

PHASE B: Digital Com­merce

In this phase you will be part of the team and learn how to provide a fric­tion­less user exper­i­ence across digital plat­forms by optim­iz­ing nav­ig­a­tion exper­i­ence, offer­ing the rel­ev­ant product assort­ment, main­tain­ing plat­form fea­tures and by provid­ing con­sumer sup­port. You will use data-driven decision mak­ing to elab­or­ate best prac­tices and scale suc­cess to other mar­kets and cat­egor­ies.

Nike is look­ing for tal­en­ted and ener­getic self-starters with a pas­sion for Mar­ket­ing and cre­at­ing inspir­ing and enga­ging con­sumer exper­i­ences. You thrive in an entre­pren­eur­ial envir­on­ment, and you are excited to join a flex­ible, fast-mov­ing team serving the world’s most iconic ath­letic brand.


  • 3rd/4th year stu­dent in (Digital) Mar­ket­ing, Ana­lyt­ics, Innov­a­tion, Con­sumer Stud­ies, or any other related fields;
  • Flu­ency in Eng­lish, with excel­lent verbal and writ­ten com­mu­nic­a­tion skills;
  • Pas­sion for digital tools and con­sumer trends.
  • Being famil­iar with per­form­ance mar­ket­ing chan­nels is a plus;
  • Pro­act­ive atti­tude, eager­ness to be an act­ive part of the team, and tak­ing own­er­ship;
  • Aca­demic, volun­teer­ing or pre­vi­ous intern­ship exper­i­ences related to Mar­ket­ing, Digital Com­merce or - Digital/Con­sumer Ana­lyt­ics are a plus (please include in your CV);
  • Pas­sion for the Nike brand and sports in gen­eral.

In order to be eli­gible for an intern­ship, you must:
  • Be a stu­dent for the whole dur­a­tion of the intern­ship (enrolled in a uni­versity/higher edu­ca­tion insti­tu­tion);
  • Have an EU pass­port or an EU work per­mit.

Start date: Feb­ru­ary 1st, 2018
Dur­a­tion: 6 months
This intern­ship is open to stu­dents out­side of the Neth­er­lands.
