Intern (m/f) in Pro­ductiv­ity Man­age­ment

Work­ing field:

Pro­ductiv­ity Man­age­ment (PM) is the cent­ral unit of Alli­anz that meas­ures and tracks the oper­a­tional per­form­ance, includ­ing IT effi­ciency of its world­wide oper­at­ing entit­ies (OEs). Cent­ral to this stra­tegic task is the ana­lysis of oper­at­ing costs and pro­ductiv­ity through a global bench­mark­ing of the largest OEs.
This is a great start­ing point for you to acquire valu­able ana­lyt­ical skills and get to know the insur­ance industry and the world­wide entit­ies of the Alli­anz Group. You will work inde­pend­ently with guid­ance from senior pro­ject man­agers and your per­sonal mentor.

You sup­port the team in their daily work, e.g.:
  • Build-up, use and inter­pret mon­it­or­ing tools with cost, qual­ity and pro­ductiv­ity KPIs
  • Check data con­sist­ency and plaus­ib­il­ity and ana­lyze the data with regards to OE per­form­ance
  • Align with exec­ut­ives from the other OEs to under­stand and val­id­ate the provided data
  • Assist with the pre­par­a­tion of reports on bench­mark­ing res­ults for the group man­age­ment and OEs


  • Enrolled as a stu­dent in Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion, Math­em­at­ics, Eco­nom­ics or other busi­ness related field
  • You are at an advanced stage of your degree and have a proven track record
  • Flu­ent in writ­ten and spoken Eng­lish, Ger­man or another addi­tional lan­guage is a plus
  • Pro­fi­cient in the use of MS Office (espe­cially Excel, VBA and Power­Point)

Exper­i­ence & Key Skills
  • Strong ana­lyt­ical skills, espe­cially quant­it­at­ive aptitude
  • Exper­i­ence in data ana­lysis and inter­pret­a­tion
  • Good com­mu­nic­a­tion skills, cul­tural aware­ness and exper­i­ence in an inter­na­tional envir­on­ment
  • High degree of sens­it­iv­ity and accur­acy in work­ing on key stra­tegic issues for the Alli­anz Group
  • First exper­i­ence in pro­ject work, con­sult­ing or fin­an­cial ser­vices industry is a plus
